[disclaimer: I'm not planning to die, this is just a 'better safe than sorry' deal! Feel free to use the same idea if you want! you can totally disregard this journal for now! It's just in case something happens to me. I'm fine as of right now, and hopefully for a long time to go lol]

okay, I've wanted to do this for a while, because DeviantART is basically my everything and if something terrible happens to me and I don't get the chance to thank you all for making me feel like I'm worth something, then that would really suck.
This journal will have a message for my watchers, what I want to happen with my account and how I will give away my characters.

"I'm writing this at the peak of my art career, well, at least as good as I thought it could ever get. 4500 watchers is absolutely mind-blowing. As an eight year old when I first drew a 'proper person' I could never have imagined that figure. And I want to thank you for that. For every single favourite, every kind comment and every watch. Deviantart became my life, and you guys made me so so happy. Thank you for making my dreams come true!! I've met some amazing people and really grown as an artist and a person.
If you want to do me something, idk if there's wifi up in heaven, but I would love love love some art of my sona, Syke. In life, I hoarded drawings of him, and in death I hope my friends will continue to collect it in my place :3
Thanks again, deviantart, for everything. Wouldn't have had it any other way <33"

ART:
As for my account, I wish for it to be left fully up for people to continue to enjoy all my arts even when I'm not there to see.
You could put a notice on there to explain why I'm inactive, and register me with the group deviant-cemetery.

If there's any owed art, I'm afraid that will have to be cancelled because it'd be difficult to get a refund out from beyond the grave. If any of my friends or mutuals are able to take over and finish the commission for my customer instead, that would be awesome! Otherwise, I hope people would be understanding ;-;

And, for the love of god, if i still have an art buffer please get someone (ElectricPanda007 , BurritoKitty ) to hack my account and keep posting it. I didn't draw all that hq stuff for it to rot in my stash lmao. 

COMIC:
As for Deadpan, please make a comment on my Tapas page (tapas.io/oakiel ) informing everyone what happened. You could include the link to all the pages I have so far (you'll find that folder in my st.ash) so that people can at least enjoy what I've already finished, even if they'll never know how it ends (infuriating, but alas).

CHARACTERS:
Since Syke is so close to my heart, I wish to keep him with me always. It would be really strange to part with him after all this time.

If none of my good friends would like them, I wish for my other characters to be auctioned off! The money should either go to my family (contact Astalakio to arrange this) or - if points - to other deserving young deviants - giving them out to the people on my wishlist is a good idea! The points in my account should also be distributed to the correct people (refunds, as much as possible).
Talking of money, i want the money left in my deviantart earnings and paypal account (this is how that works ) to go to my family!

SPECIES/ADOPTS:
Any open adopts on my other account OakAdopts should go to whoever expressed interest in the comments for free. The highest still-interested offer on all OTAs above $5 will be accepted, and below $5 they can have it for free.
Of course I will no longer be able to keep producing new content for my species, in which case the people who have guest-designed for me before are allowed to design a batch of up to 4 a week (and keep all profit) to keep them going!

Please take good care of my characters - I can't express how important they are to me and I don't want them to collect dust when I'm done with them.
